Yeah, I know. I wish I could have taken them each a bottle of beer or a soft drink. I’ve done work like that (stacking firewood for 8 hours, lifting and carrying tree limbs and scrub) and my back has never been right since. I have a lot of respect for those who can do it consistently.

Well, you can hope, but you know that didn’t happen. I’m sure they didn’t even have protections like sick days or worker’s comp.
