Not only do I love your work, both writing and photography, I have this special fondness for your photography titles. They always make me pause a moment longer just to think. You’re quite talented. 😊
Thanks very much for that. It means so much to me. 🙂 And keep on with your writing, I enjoy it very much. I know there are times when it’s difficult and just not there. And I know about being a writing martyr, I’ve been there. Writing is a hard and relentless craft and sometimes very loud. But sometimes it whispers and seduces. Listen to the voice. Even a few scribbles can lead to… who knows? A writer’s voice should be heard, not hidden; especially those who write well. 🙂
Thank you for the kind words. The whispering and seduction of writing is what keeps us beguiled that’s for sure. Has there ever been a sane person who writes? Seems to me you have to have some level of craziness to keep at it.
You keep me motivated to stay with it. I can only dream of being half as talented as you. Again, thanks for the kind words, I’m going through some struggles right now and your words are especially appreciated.
I think that, of all the arts, writing is the most internal. We’re essentially listening to the voices we create. And people accept that? Wow! Talent is hard work, sweating out the words, tearing pages to shred, trying to find the right connection between thought and the written word. The biggest part of writing is a love of the language. If you have that, and the passion and craziness to put it down, you’re a writer. And you’re a writer. So hang in there! If it helps, here’s a link to some of the best quotes about writing by writers. http://www.writersdigest.com/editor-blogs/there-are-no-rules/72-of-the-best-quotes-about-writing. I hope your struggles get better. 🙂
