On its way

White on Ford

With the so-called “Snowpocalpyse” on its way, we’re making preparations. Living in a somewhat isolated area, there’s a good chance we won’t see civilization for a few days, so we’re ready. Pizza and a movie tonight, tuck in under some blankets, and watch the world turn into a blank page for the next couple of days. As long as we don’t lose power….

This shot was taken last year, which wasn’t nearly as bad as what’sΒ beenΒ forecast. We’ll see. The old Ford may just disappear this time around.

Stay safe, stay warm, keep those blankets and the hot chocolate nearby. πŸ™‚

Afraid so. Hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst. πŸ™‚

Thanks Kat. We’re not going anywhere. We’ve got lots of water and the grill for cooking should we lose power. If we can keep Sully watered, we should be okay. πŸ™‚

        I don’t mind BBQing… but I’d rather not today. Unless I have to. πŸ™‚

I must step in to outdo you. I was snowed in so much on Tuesday morning that when blocks of snow fell on the drift piled up to knee high in front of my door, I was trapped. I opened the door to see a wall of white. Luckily, my neighbours had been outdoors shovelling for hours and dug me out. I mean, the snow completely on the two shovels I left somewhere over there. Ha ha ha ha ha. Then I had to dig my car out but it was blocked in on all sides so I couldn’t get to the door. So I had to walk to work. Fun. Times.

That sounds like a Daffy Duck cartoon… not that I’m making fun of you. That kind of snow is just too much. It’s too bad that people don’t have the option of hibernating though the winter. Think how much happier everyone would be. And yes, you won this round. πŸ™‚ Stay safe!

Thank you, you too. I’m sure I’ll be posting weather shots when (and if) I can. πŸ™‚

Oh, the Snowpocalypse. I do miss Canadian winters sometimes, but not at the moment. Good luck πŸ™‚

You too. A good excuse for a mini hibernation. πŸ™‚
