Tis the season. Actually, this is the first weekend with any discernible change in color. I’m glad you enjoyed them. 🙂

Love this photo! Autumn is my favourite season, not least for the wonderful colours.

I’m from northeast Ohio (Akron). That’s actually almost Canada. Canada is right across the lake from Cleveland, Ohio, 30 miles north. We used to buy maple sugar candy in some places. There was a festival. 😀 — Suzanne

It’s been over 9 years since I’ve been there (southeastern Ontario). We used to go on school trips to sugar bushes to watch how maple syrup was made. And then there were pancakes. It must be quite a change for you.

Unless you’re been to India, Steven, you can’t imagine how different it is from Ohio, or any part of the U.S. for that matter. Some visitors suffer culture shock. After about fifteen years, I’m used to it by now. We live in Pune, which is a big city. A lot of people speak either good English or at least some English. That’s great because I’m a total failure at learning the languages (Hindi and Marathi). 🙂 — Suzanne

You must have a wealth of stories to tell. Moving to Virginia was a bit of a culture shock for me, but minor compared to what you must have gone through. It sounds like a fascinating adventure!
